A mug on my table. Ceramic, mostly white. It has a line drawing of a dragon on it, black, with a copyright date which I cannot see from where I sit. Breath fogs from the dragon's mouth, a small lump of mostly-blackened something setting before it. The dragon is grinning, and its tail is looped over its back much like a cat's. Speaking of which, a cat's head just appeared over the other side of the table. A stretch, an arch, and a curl around in a circle, settling again into sleep. Cats and dragons.

Watch your cat. Find the groove of existing as you were meant to exist -- whether it's time to groom, or time to lounge, or even time to bounce straight up in the air and spin around cause a breeze touched the last little strand of fur on the tippiest tip of your tail, signaling that now you must race three times widdershins around the ENTIRE HOUSE in less than a second... the cat is a cat, and knows as much, and will be as Cat as it is possible to be.
Be a cat.

Did you ever get the feeling that the story's too damned real and in the present tense? Or that everybody's on the stage and it seems like you're the only person sitting in the audience?

What I want is not immortality per se; I want time for a purpose. I want time to live, I want time to share, i want time to see and find and connect with that large fraction of people who are awake in their world, who are connected and who can see the way energy flows hither and yon amongst connections. I want to have time enough to grow, time enough to live, time enough to love.
