using this place to bounce ideas and thoughts and take on board comments. also, to see where others both M and F around the globe are comming from. Not really from Perth WA, am from Albany WA - just that Perth shows up better. Enjoyed Life of Pi and Lovely Bones - not as deep as some here, but enjoy what they have to say - I'm a little blue collar I think.

summer is now here
            -mork
have decided to take a two week holiday from GC .. all the best. To infinity and beyond.
            -mork
My friends - it has been GREAT this morning, I have enjoyed your company very much, I thankyou for challenging me when what I write does not gel, but I must now cease the day and continue my journey - the whales are still passing by, I shall sit on a lonely clift and search the breakers - and dwell on thoughts that only nature can inspire - my concern for you all grows deeper by the day. Be at peace.
            -mork
Butterfly - very profound thoughts - for me, tah. Arosie - agree.
            -mork
Butterfly - yeah alright - it's the only one I had on hand, maybe I should look in the King James to see if I can find out what is truth?? Remember the days of the door to door World Book people - well they got me, at least I didn't buy a vacuum cleaner from a travelling salesman though - did you?
            -mork
Zippy - not good, eh? - a great time to be waited on though - not so Zippy today - me thinks.
            -mork
I can see, I can touch, I can hear, I can smell, I have feelings - I am alive.
            -mork
Bill - I leave my thoughts on truth here, I shall continue the search, I read you and can see that what you write is heart felt and for that you have my respect
            -mork
those who claim to have the inner truth have misled a lot of folk - Jonestown, etc -
            -mork
Bill - this is not meant to be smart ar@@ - but tell me what is inner truth?
            -mork
Truth - a fixed or established principle, law, etc, proven doctrine, verified hypothesis - World Book Dictionary
            -mork
it is the customary fate of new truths to begin as heresies and to end as superstitions - Thomas Husley
            -mork
truth - bah, humbug - be yourself, do what is right.
            -mork
the most potentially explosive force in the world today is the frustrated desire of poor people to attain a decent standard of living - tell them what is truth - they know what reality sounds, feels and smells like.
            -mork
Huh.... what is truth - yours or mine?
            -mork
last post for a bit - but I can feel a breeze - a gentle zephyer - it reminds me of a friend I have somewhere in the US of A - be at peace .
            -mork
maze - too true, RESPECT - different but all one - when I see a young black child dying in it's mother's arms due to lack of food - I too die a little - this very day the plate of cereal I left unfinished - I feed it to my dogs - I'm sorry nameless mother, I have let you down, my friend, my sister.
            -mork
I give up - I can't keep up with the Jone's - they win.
            -mork
the problem is not consumption itself - the problem is our attachment to consumption - we need to pratice conscious consumption - an awareness of why we buy things and understanding what needs we are trying to meet by buying these things.
            -mork
when so many issues seem beyond our control we begin to concentrate instead on things we can control and there are plenty of contenders - like what are the new tiles for the bathroom going to be - BUT society NEEDS to deal with these issues that appear BEYOND it's control - war, poverty, peak oil, climate change, gender inequality, etc
            -mork
to errect the Colosseum required more than 44 billion kilocalories of energy - Rome's energy came from food to feed it's workforce an area that was needed was the size of France our energy comes from fossil fuels and it's getting harder to get -
            -mork
Hugs arosie - Sundays are the best - working week done - yard etc all done Sat - Sun, ahhh - slowly read paper, go to the beach, buy some fish and chips, sit on the grass and suck it all in - yeah Sundays are great - I am very lucky - or it that blessed?
            -mork
Morning Zeph - no college today? - go for a walk, sit in a mall and sit on a bench and check out those nameless folk rushing and striving .... for what?
            -mork
